Tips! Enjoy the Show

Here are some hints to help you get the most out of the Auburn Home Shows and have a pleasant experience.

Make A List.  Take some time before coming to the home show to jot down projects you'd like to tackle. Browse the exhibitor list to see which vendors interest you the most.

At Each Entrance... be sure to pick up a home show program to direct you around the show grounds.

Check out the map for the location of your favorite exhibitor, feature or where to win a prize.

Don't Just Browse. Talk to Vendors.
If you are interested in a product or service, leave your name and phone number and ask the vendor to follow up with you after the home show.

The Show is Big! Over 1,000 exhibits with different levels. Come early and plan on spending most of the day. Take a break for lunch at one of the many food vendors. Be sure to visit all the buildings and Pavilions.

Wear Comfortable Shoes.  The show is indoors and outdoors, so dress appropriately.

Pick a Meeting Place... in case you get separated from your party. We suggest the planter in front of the Placer Building.

Bring Blueprints... floor plans, sketches and measurements to the show. Many vendors are prepared to take your information.

Get Ready to Shop!
There are many items that you can purchase right at the home show. In addition many vendors offer special home show pricing so be prepared to purchase while attending the home show.

Enter To Win!! Many prizes are given away, just for applying, try your luck.

The Fairgrounds have inclines and slopes.
This can be hard for people with walking or breathing difficulties. For ease, you can drop off persons at the High Street gate (no parking available) and park in the public parking lot. On weekends, you can also park in overflow parking and take the free shuttle bus to the home show. There are no wheelchairs or strollers available for rent.

Money. An ATM is available at the Fairgrounds.
